What blood tests do you offer?
We offer a wide range of analyses: blood tests (saliva, finger prick) sent to IMD or Nordic Labs, comprehensive full blood analyses with IMD Lab, home test kits from Nordic Labs (GI MAP, DUTCH, OAT), and modern DNA analyses (DNA Health, Diet, Sport, Mind, Medcheck). All tests include detailed consultation.
What's the difference between IMD Lab and Nordic Labs?
IMD Lab is a medical specialist laboratory for comprehensive blood and saliva analyses. Nordic Labs offers specialized home test kits like GI MAP (gut flora), DUTCH (hormones) and DNA analyses. Both laboratories work according to the highest quality standards.
How long until I get the results?
All samples are sent to our partner laboratories. Evaluation takes between 3-10 days depending on the test. Genetic analyses may take up to 14 days. We'll inform you as soon as results are available.
What are genetic analyses and epigenetics tests?
Genetic analyses examine your DNA and reveal genetic predispositions. Epigenetics tests go a step further and show how your genes are actually activated. Our certified epigenetics coach Katerina Petrovska will advise you in detail about the results.
Are the costs covered by health insurance?
This depends on the test and your health insurance. Some tests are covered when medically necessary. Genetic analyses and many preventive tests are usually self-pay services. We're happy to advise you about costs before any analysis.
Do I need an appointment for a blood test?
We recommend making an appointment by phone at 030 648 96 27, especially for consultations about genetic analyses or epigenetics. This way we can take enough time for you.
Can I order home tests outside of Berlin?
Yes! We can send Nordic Labs home tests (GI MAP, DUTCH, DNA tests) Germany-wide. You perform the test comfortably at home and send the sample directly to the lab. Consultation is available by phone or video.
