Yes, you can redeem E-Prescriptions for family members. Simply bring their electronic health card (eGK) to the pharmacy.
Does the E-Prescription work without a smartphone?
Yes, absolutely! You can redeem your E-Prescription without a smartphone. Simply use your health card in-store at the pharmacy or ask your doctor for a paper printout with QR code.
How does redemption with the health card work?
Very simple: Insert your health card into our reader – no PIN required. We retrieve your E-Prescription directly from the central server and prepare your medications.
What if my medication is not in stock?
We immediately order out-of-stock medications from our wholesaler. In most cases, we can deliver the medication to you the same or next day.
Do you deliver medications to my home?
Yes, we offer free delivery for postal codes 12589, 12587, 15566 and 15537. This includes Rahnsdorf, Köpenick, Friedrichshagen, Erkner and Schöneiche.
What happens if I lose my health card?
Since E-Prescriptions can be retrieved without PIN entry, you should have your card blocked by your health insurance as soon as possible if lost.
Where are my E-Prescriptions stored?
E-Prescriptions are stored on the central E-Prescription server by gematik – not on your health card. The health card only serves as a key to retrieve the prescriptions.
Can I also submit private prescriptions digitally?
Yes, you can also submit private prescriptions digitally via WhatsApp or our online form. Simply take a photo of the prescription and send it to us.
